The Temiskaming Thunder is proud to partner with Tato Recruiting, an Indigenous-owned IT professional services staffing firm founded by John Beaupré, a proud TDSS graduate who grew up in New Liskeard. Though John now lives in Ottawa, his Northern roots remain strong, and giving back to both his hometown and the Indigenous community is at the heart of his work.

Basketball played a significant role in John’s life growing up, teaching values of teamwork, resilience, and leadership. These are the same values the Thunder strives to instill in our athletes, making this partnership a natural fit. By joining forces, we’re not only covering registration costs, but also working to build recognition, expand programming, and ensure more youth in our community can access the game they love.
