In 2006, Linda Miller and her daughter Jada founded Miller Realty Group, an independent real estate agency. This family-owned and women-led business consists of a team of dedicated local female real estate agents (Shelly Zubyck, Laurie Christo and Jocelyn Baruque).  All their agents have deep roots in Northern Ontario, having been raised here. This gives them unparalleled knowledge and extensive reach throughout Temiskaming Shores and the surrounding areas. Their active involvement in the community since the 1970s has allowed us to establish a robust brand presence that attracts both potential buyers and sellers. Their core values revolve around professional excellence, high ethical standards, hard work, and, most importantly, confidentiality, given the nature of conducting business within a close-knit community.

In 2012, the Van Iperen family made a significant transition, relocating from Woodstock, Ontario, to establish themselves on a dairy and cash crop farm just outside of Englehart. While their transition to the lifestyle of living in a small Northern Ontario community was a major change, their love for basketball remained a constant thread in their lives. Among the family members, Lex (Englehart High School Alumni), excelled on the court, serving as a center for two varsity men's basketball programs at Laurentian University and Fanshawe College. His success on the court was made possible by his father's encouragement for him to pursue his athletic aspirations. Upon graduating with a Diploma in Business, Coach Lex returned to his family farm in Northern Ontario, driven by his unwavering passion for basketball. His commitment to the sport transformed him into a dedicated coach, focused on mentoring and training young, aspiring athletes in the Northern Ontario region as a coach with the Temiskaming Thunder! This generous donation comes from the heart of the Van Iperen Family Farm, with the support and gratitude of Cor, Lex, and Stef.
