The mission of the Temiskaming Thunder Club basketball program is to provide a positive and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages in Northern Ontario to promote healthy competition and foster a love of the game. We aim to create a community that values sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growth while prioritizing fun and skill development. Our goal is to make basketball accessible to youth in Northern Ontario and to inspire our members to become lifelong athletes and active community members.

Coming Up Next
Coming up this spring, Temiskaming Thunder is offering three exciting Youth House League programs at TDSS in New Liskeard. ThundHER Hoops is our first-ever girls-only session for athletes in Grades 5 to 8, focused on skill development and confidence-building in a supportive, all-girls environment. Rising Stars is a co-ed house league for Grades 5 to 8, with weekly sessions that blend drills and game play. Thunder Mini Ballers is designed for our youngest players in Grades 1 to 4, introducing the fundamentals of basketball through fun and engaging sessions. All programs run once a week for six weeks and cost $75 per player.
